Embrace the Cake is looking forward to being your custom cake designer. Here are a few answers to questions you may have to help you make your decision.

Can we customize our cake from your designs?
Yes! We are here to provide you with the cake of you've always dreamed of! We are always looking for new and exciting cakes to create. You may also send us your own ideas, photos, themes etc. We can work with designs found in books or seen on websites and will work with you to provide the best options for your special day.

Do you offer cake tastings?
Yes! We offer complimentary cake tastings for our custom and wedding cakes that are 100 servings or larger. We do not offer tastings for specialty, mini or cupcakes, however you may purchase a mini cake if you would like to try our flavors.  Tastings are available by appointment only.

Can I add fresh flowers to my cake?
Yes. You may choose to allow us to provide the flowers for your cake through our florist and we shall make every effort to match your request. If you choose to use your own florist, we will provide you with the dimensions of your cake so you may make arrangements with them. We are not able to pick up your fresh flowers, but we will be happy to arrange them on your cake if they are at the reception site at the time of the cake delivery.

Do you make grooms cakes or "kitchen" cakes?

Will you deliver my cake?
Yes! We deliver wedding and custom cakes in and around the Las Vegas metro area free of charge. Deliveries outside the Las Vegas metro area will be subject to a delivery fee based on the location.

Do you provide or rent wedding cake toppers, cake cutting knives or cake stands?
At this time we do not provide cake toppers or cake cutting knives. If you choose to purchase a topper for your cake, it must be received by us no less than 5 days before the event.
Cakes require support and we will provide you with one of our stands for your wedding cake with the appropriate deposit. The deposit is refundable when the equipment is returned. Should you choose to provide us with your own stand it must be received by us no later than 5 days before your event. We will provide you with the dimensions of your cake to ensure a proper fit.

All other cakes and specialty items will be packaged according to size.

When should I order my cake?
For wedding cakes and custom cakes we recommend scheduling a tasting and consultation at least 3-6 months prior to your event date and placing your order no less than 10 weeks before the event. This will ensure there is enough time to accommodate your request and secure any equipment and supplies needed.

For special occasion cakes we recommend 2 weeks notice

For specialty cakes  we ask for 10 days notice.

However we may be able to provide custom cakes in less time depending on our workload. Please contact us for more information.

How do I order my cake?
Ready to get started? To start the order process, please send us an email through our contact page or directly to Embracethecake@yahoo.com with the following information in the comments field-
 

• Event date
• Special occasion (wedding, baby shower dinner party)
• Event location & estimated delivery time
• Number of guests expected
• Daytime contact number
• Email address
• Brief description of the design you wish us to create
• Photo if available

What do you charge for your cakes?
Since all of our wedding and custom cakes are unique and catered to meet your request, we do not have a standard price list. The price will be based on flavors, servings and the complexity of the design. Please contact us for pricing.

When do I pay for my cake?
For wedding and custom cakes, in order to secure our services for your special event we require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The balance is required to be paid 2 weeks prior to the event date. If we do not receive full payment 2 weeks prior to your date, you will need to make arrangements with another designer to to provide your wedding cake.

Your date is not reserved until we have received your signed contract and appropriate payment.

All other cake orders are handled a little differently depending on the order.

We accept cash or check as payment. Sorry, we do not accept credit or debit cards at this time.
