Consultation:

At Embrace the Cake we look forward to working with you to design the perfect cake for your special event. The process is quite simple. Let's get started!

Contact us via email or through our contact page and let us know briefly the type of cake you would like. Please include a daytime phone number and the best time to reach you. We will contact within 48 hours for an initial phone consultation and let you know if our services are available on your event date.

Should you feel confident you would like to work with us at that time, we will schedule a secondary consultation. We ask that you bring with you all of your ideas, colors, invitation, designs, drawings or photos you would like us to include in your cake design. In short, anything you think will help us get a better idea of how to make your cake unique. You will also have the opportunity to meet with our chef , browse our portfolio and discuss your options.

If you would like to have cake tasting at this time, please  let us know what flavors you would like to try and we will prepare them for you. We ask you limit your tasting choices to a maximum of  3 flavors. Our tastings accommodate up to 4 pp.

You may choose to have the consultation in the convenience of your own home, or we can meet you at your chosen venue for the event. Just let us know your preference.

Please note, we only offer cake tastings for wedding and custom cakes serving a minimum of 100 people. If you would like to purchase a specialty cake and would like to taste it first you have the option of purchasing a mini cake. Please contact us for more information.

Pricing:

We work with you to personalize every detail of your cake and tailor the design to meet your needs. Since no two cakes are alike we do not have a standard price list. The price for your unique cake will be based on flavors, servings and complexity of design. Additional fees may be involved should you choose fresh flowers, handmade sugar paste flowers, a cake stand deposit or other types of adornments included in your design.

During the consultation we strive to provide you with an accurate quote based on the information provided to us. Depending on your design, we may need a bit of time to research certain items you have requested. In that case, we will provide a quote to you with 48 hours of our initial conversation. 
 
We have a $85.00 miniumim price for all custom cakes. Custom meaning, a design that represents something out of the ordinary, for example, an specific invitation design, book, character etc.

There is a $150.00 minimum on carved cakes. Carved meaning 3 dimensional shapes such as automobiles, planes, animals etc.

These cakes will feed 20-30pp. If you are in need of a larger cake, the price will be adjusted accordingly.

All financial obligations and deadlines on wedding, custom and carved cakes will be clearly outlined in your cake contract.
